DALCHOWS VERDEN DALCHOWS VERDEN ("Dalchow's World") has since 2002 worked primarily on documentaries and fiction films. The company channels Jan Dalchow's productions, whose resume includes two documentaries; Amanda and Gullruten nominee "I love whom I want to love" (“Jeg elsker hvem jeg vil”) and the Gullruten winner "Dirty, sinful me" (“BE – skitne, syndige meg”), and the Tribeca Film Festival and Teddy Award winning short fiction film "Precious Moments" (“Fremragende timer”). Almost all of his earlier output has put the life and troubles of gays and lesbians in the spotlight. Being an outsider is a common and dear theme to Dalchow, who knows what "being different" can entail. Dalchow is competent
in the fields of direction, production, editing and sound work. He also
calls on a broad network covering cinematography, set design, casting,
script writing, graphic design and light and sound work when the need
arises. DALCHOWS VERDEN is a project based organisation. DALCHOWS VERDEN is part of the unique work environment Filmcentralen, seven small companies sharing knowledge, resources and offices. Our working colleagues include Exposed Film Production and close partner Handy Film, run by producer/cinematographer Frank Alvegg. Our combined resources make us flexible and quick to respond to challenges. In the center of Oslo, two editing suites, a small cinema and energetic people spread over two floors covering 500 square meters, we take pride in turning out meaningful stories of high production value.
